I don't know what this is..........

I don't know what this is but it made me think of Grandma Ravsten.

Icecream...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I got some good candid pictures of everyone enjoying their icecream."Just 50 more strokes and it will be perfectly squishy....."
"I love icecream. " Hey Jessy!..... Gotch ya!!
I don't think Megan has ever opened her mouth so big. Ahh icecream.

Valley Forge

Another picture with George Washington. Corey was very intrigued by the war history at the sights we visited. So intrigued that he even started reading the Magic Treehouse edition called Revolutionary War on Wednesday. It was amazing. He carried it around with him. These are replicas of the huts Washingtons soldiers built during their time at Valley Forge. Aside from poor health, lack of food, and winter weather, boredom was also a problem at Valley Forge. The soldiers were apparently eager to get building these huts.

sticks for guns--anything is a weapon--but, hey, they made a friend.

Finally!!!!!

I am finally able to update our blog!! Our computer still isn't fixed but now I can do it on the laptop. Ahhhh. I feel like it's been forever!

Mount Vernon

This is the back of Mount Vernon, George Washington's home. Can you imagine waking up to this every morning? Sigh

This is the front of Washington's home. Mount Vernon was very pleasant and nice. They wouldn't let us take any pictures of the inside. We were bummed.

A tribute to Idaho

We were wandering around in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and stopped into this burger joint for some good eats. They had this sign right next to the register. The fries were delicioso!!
Love ya all!
