A tribute to Idaho

We were wandering around in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and stopped into this burger joint for some good eats. They had this sign right next to the register. The fries were delicioso!!

Megan's show

I tried to load this video last spring when Megan actually did this show but it wouldn't work. So I've tried again and it worked this time! So here is the last scene of our High Schools production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Megan is a sheep--she is the smallest one on the left. You can't see her at first but the sheep do stand up and start singing 'ah's. They're so cute. The scene is only3 minutes long but for some reasong I kept recording the bows--I don't know why--you can't ever see Megan very well but she is one of the first to bow. Keep watching if you want.

Bye Bye Birdie

Bye Bye Birdie--which I've never seen--is about Elvis more or less. The superstar rocker--Conrad Birdie--gets drafted into the army. So for publicity and money he and his manager decide to have him kiss some 'lucky' girl on the Ed Sullivan show before he leaves. So he goes to a small town somewhere in America bla bla bla. It's a cute show. All the girls in town are nuts over this Birdie character and chasing him and swooning the whole time.

Jessica is sitting on the edge of the stage on the right side of the photo in a greenish blue shirt. I'm a horrible camera man--sorry! And it was hard to get good footage of Jessica. I didn't know where she'd be because I hadn't seen any rehearsals and the orchestra was in the way.

But all these kids are 7th and 8th graders. The 'Elvis' character is only 12. It cracks me up. He does a pretty good job.

Jessica is in the same place in a white shirt. When the company shifts toward the end she ends up front and center.

Megan's Valentine party

Megan is beautiful! Megan loves school! She got sick this week and was angry I made her stay home! She has a lot of cute friends. When I go to her class I get at least 3 girls come up and ask me to have a playdate with Megan. Megan is proving herself to be very level headed in socializing. When things bother her, she doesn't cry, or have fits. She tells me about it and then goes on with her life. I love her--she's doing good.

Jessica

I caught Jessica doing her homework.........

What a cutie. Jessica is very studious and always gets her homework done. This year she has always been one hair away from straight 'A's. She has one teacher that consistently gives her a 'high B'--and it's even her favorite class!!!! She loves language arts and her language arts teacher but never gets and 'A'. We think the teacher is wacked. Of course he is--he must be!
